Amazon India cheating the customerReport

I have valid emails from the customer service center regarding discount on mobile because it was their fault for not delivering the product when I had paid the entire amount for the phone.
Now, when I am placing the order, the customer service people are bluntly refusing to give discount stating it was a mistake from their side.All email exchanges are sent from their team stating provision will be made for discount at the time of purchase. But, none of them are accepting it now.
