A guy approached us, (my husband and myself) with a scratch card of Nirmiti resorts and club holidays near Candolium Beach, Goa. We were both given a scratch card each wherein one of them would be picked as a lucky winner. A pure form of fishing intended to create interest. We were then invited to visit their resort hotel to collect the prize won in the scratch card.We were then asked to sit through the presentation of Nirmiti so that the guy who gave us the scratch card would get some incentive at work.
We were impressed with the presentation as we were told we shall be getting the hotel accommodation any 365 days of the year for 7 days through Nirmiti or DAE. However we were not given demo of the booking or availability on the DAE website. We were assured of many promising services, which was based on verbal communication.
On trust we purchased the Membership with No. CNLM/03072018/230 for 25 years on 3rd of Jul 2018, 4:45pm late evening at Le Pearl Beach Resort Candolim, Goa. However we decided to cancel the membership and the very next day i.e., 4th Jul 2018 at 10 am and submitted a cancellation request to the team of Deepiksha, Pradeep Raj at the same resort.
While selling the membership to us we were told we shall be getting the hotel accommodation any 365 days of the year for 7 days through Nirmiti or DAE. We were not given demo of the booking or availability on the DAE website citing Internet connectivity issue. In the evening of 3rd Jul 2018 when we checked the DAE website we found that the availability is not present as promised. Whatever was explained during that meeting regarding the inclusions and exclusions of holidays, nothing is mentioned in writing in the contract.On the same evening of 3rd Jul 2018 we contacted back the person who had explained and sold us the Membership (Deepiksha) and asked not to proceed with the processing of the documents and we would like to cancel the Membership. We were asked to visit the the Le Pearl Beach Resort Candolim, Goa the next day i.e, 4th July 2018 wherein we spoke to Pradeep Raj and placed a request that the Membership not be processed. We were told that the Membership would have been already processed. Hence, we requested that the Membership be cancelled then and there and refund the Rs. 1, 70, 000/-. paid and provided a Cancellation request letter to the team of Deepiksha and Pradeep Raj. They refused to cancel the membership at that moment and informed us that the Customer Service Team will reach us within 2-3 days confirming the cancellation. We were assured of cancellation of membership over confirmation by the team but we have not received any call or communication from Nirmiti till date.
We tried reaching out to Nirmiti Customer Care on all the possible numbers made available in website, but unable to establish contact. Our emails to firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com have no response even after repeat reminders. Our email to firstname.lastname@example.org has been bounced.
We also tried reaching the people who sold us the Membership but both of them are not responding to our calls.
We have not received any communication from the company till date.
We have been cheated with Rs 1, 70, 000 paid towards no services or support.
No contact points to escalate the service issues, no grievance support desk from the company to support customer.
We seek support in processing Cancellation of Membership No. CNLM/03072018/230 and Refund of membership paid money of Rs 1, 70, 000/- .
